About Shepherd's Care
We work with the community in training volunteers to assist in providing care that includes emotional support and Spiritual Care, as well as, friendship to Residents in Nursing Homes, Community Based Residential Communities, Senior Apartment Communities and Assisted Living Care Communities throughout the Fox Valley Area. We are excited to partner with you to show how much this community cares about the fastest growing mission field in America right here in our community.
As Founders of Shepherd's Care Community Outreach, Rich and Fran Engle are committed to bringing God's love, hope and encouragement to the elderly and the many people who live in Community-Based Care Communities throughout the Fox Valley area. They have been serving together for 31 years. Rich grew up with his mother Elizabeth residing in nursing homes from the time she was 39 years old. From an early age, Rich developed a deep love for the special people who live in Care Communities. Rich is an ordained Pastor called to minister to the Elderly, Senior Adults and those in Care Communities or shut-in at home. Equipping, training and enlisting volunteers who have a heart to reach out to Senior Adults through Shepherd's Care Community Outreach is a critical part of this ministry. Fran, married to Rich for 32 years, provides office and administrative support and ministry development help while she assists Rich with serving in Care Communities. Both Rich and Fran serve on the Board Of Directors along with a team of qualified leaders. They count it a privilege to serve God and their community together along with dozens of volunteers that are committed to caring for people. Rich and Fran have four adult children and 10 incredible grandchildren all in the area.
Please inquire today about how you can become a part of this community mission. We are always looking for people with a heart for Seniors. We need volunteers..., prayer supporters...,and financial partners to be able to continue to make the free services of Shepherd's Care available to everyone who requests them regardless of religious belief, age, race, denomination etc. Shepherd's Care services are available to all without discrimination.
If you would like to request any of our FREE services or know of a Care Community or individual that could benefit from Shepherd's Care Community Outreach services, please contact us. Call 920-209-9903 or email us directly at richardtengle@gmail.com.
Religion as God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: To look after orphans and widows in their distress... James 1:27
Our Statement of Faith
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and the only practical guide for daily living.
2. We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ who came in the flesh, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His atoning death through His shed blood and his bodily resurrection, in His ascension, and in His imminent personal return in power and glory.
4. We believe man cannot do anything to merit salvation from God. Salvation is a free gift from God and received only by the grace of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour to those who repent of their sins and trust Christ Jesus for His atonement for their salvation.
5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling the repentant sinner who becomes a new creation and is empowered to live a godly life in Christ Jesus.
6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. We believe that all have sinned, are lost and deserve Hell, and the only hope is to place one's faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and to know that eternal life is granted based on what He did, not on what we do. Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven or to the Father.
7. All true believers are placed in the Body of Christ and are members of His Church.
