About Shepherd's Care
We work with the community in training volunteers to provide spiritual care, friendship and emotional support to Residents in Nursing Homes, Community Based Residential Communities, Senior Apartment Communities and Assisted Living Care Communities throughout the Fox Valley and Waupaca County areas. We are excited to partner with you to show how much we care about the fastest growing mission field in America right here in our communities.
Shepherd's Care Community Outreach was started in 2008 by Rich and Fran Engle who have been working and serving together for 38 years. Because of Rich's calling to the elderly and their heart for seniors, they began the ministry as an extension of the local church. As the ministry has grown, it now involves the greater community, reaching out with the love of God to serve those living in Care Communities. They continue to oversee a strong team of leaders and volunteers who are committed to bringing God's love, hope and encouragement to the elderly and all those living in Care Communities. Rich is a licensed and ordained Pastor and full-time Chaplain with a desire to see many more people equipped, trained and enlisted to reach out to Senior adults.

We need volunteers..., prayer supporters..., and financial partners to be able to continue to make the free services of Shepherd's Care available to everyone who requests them regardless of religious belief, age, race, denomination, etc. Shepherd's Care services are available to all without discrimination.

Our Statement of Faith
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and the only practical guide for daily living.
2. We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ who came in the flesh, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His atoning death through His shed blood and his bodily resurrection, in His ascension, and in His imminent personal return in power and glory.
4. We believe man cannot do anything to merit salvation from God. Salvation is a free gift from God and received only by the grace of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour to those who repent of their sins and trust Christ Jesus for His atonement for their salvation.
5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling the repentant sinner who becomes a new creation and is empowered to live a godly life in Christ Jesus.
6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. We believe that all have sinned, are lost and deserve Hell, and the only hope is to place one's faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and to know that eternal life is granted based on what He did, not on what we do. Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven or to the Father.
7. All true believers are placed in the Body of Christ and are members of His Church.
